Late Night Musings

Today is a quick post and I apologize for that. It’s been a busy day and I’m tired but still awake.

The sisters and I (and their husbands) are currently sitting at the kitchen table, gossiping and chatting. I live for moments like these. It’s not too often that we all get together with some extra time in our days or nights. But sitting here, venting to each other, is really a good feeling sometimes. I love doing this. It makes me realize how similar we are sometimes with our complaints being the same.

One of our main conversations right now is what to do for our dad’s retirement gift. There are all these ideas but somehow my brother and mother seem to have a reason to shoot down everything. That becomes the reason for the venting and discussing. There are some funny moments mostly where we make fun of some things and other moments are tense where one of us almost starts screaming our frustrations.

I don’t know. I find it therapeutic.

Who do you go to for venting, gossiping, and discussions?
