An Ordinary World

books, blabberings, and a life semi-common

Antics of a Child

Every now and then… I get stuck in meetings. I love hearing about our new books coming out but it sometimes gets tedious and tiring and sometimes, we talk on and on and on about a single title until we’ve talked it to the ground. For the most part, I don’t mind them, but every now and then I start to zone out from the monotony.

So how do I pass the time away?

I draw.

Keep in mind… I don’t really know how to draw. I’m pretty terrible at it. I draw worse than some children. But it helps to pass the time.

What do I draw?

See, I have this thing….

I really love some of our titles. I don’t love all of them but sometimes I really love one.

What does this have to do with drawing?

I draw out parts of the title as though I’m playing Pictionary and someone has to guess what the title is.

No, but really.

And… Despite my terrible drawings (really, they’re so childish) and the embarrassment that may ensue, I’m letting you all take a peek at what I’ve done…

Feel free to guess the titles I was drawing. Hehehe.

    I don’t think it’s you guys… I think it’s my inability to draw!
