books, blabberings, and a life semi-common
A couple of days ago, I wrote about Worst Cooks in America on Food Network and I have a basic confession.
I am obsessed with Food Network.
More often than not lately, I find myself lounging on my bed with a book or Masen the MacBook… With the damn television set on Food Network.
Cupcake Wars? I have to watch. It’s fascinating. I love cupcakes (much more than cake) so seeing these bakers work their magic is awesome. I also may or may not have mini-crushes on the master carpenters. Because I mean… Seriously.
Chopped? OMG I don’t even know how these chefs can figure out dishes when those baskets are open. It’s so nerve-wracking. AND! Have any of you seen the latest commercials? Chopped All Stars?! Oh man, I honestly cannot wait to see these well-known chefs battle it out.
I have to say that I miss the original Iron Chef – you know, the one with the dubbed voices over Japanese. Iron Chef America isn’t as awesome but, every now and then, they have a secret ingredient that is amaaaaazing and I just have to watch.
There are other shows on there that I love but those are the ones that always stand out in my mind. I’ll sit and watch Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives… Or Unwrapped… They’re all shows that are fun and amusing and well… I love food. That means it’s totally fine for me to love a channel that’s all about it, right?
